Massage & Bodywork
Professional Services
Each body is different, so each massage is tailored to your specific massage goals. The depth of pressure and pacing of your session will always be modified until you are comfortable. More time can always be dedicated toward any specific region of the body in order to promote a deeper relaxation of that area. Again, your session is tailored specifically to you, so let me know if anything specific is causing you pain or discomfort so that we can work together
toward achieving your goals of relaxation and wellness.
Swedish Massage
For general wellness and ultimate relaxation, I use a combination of slow, long gliding and kneading strokes to promote circulation and relax tense and aching muscles, providing a deeply relaxing massage. Most clients are able to (and usually do) fall asleep during their session.
Deep Tissue Massage
As many satisfied clients will tell you, my personally developed upper body one-hour deep tissue massage routine is excellent and relaxing. Using my forearms and elbows, tense and knotted muscles relax and unwind, feeling rejuvenated long after your session ends. It is vital to drink plenty of water in the hours immediately following your massage, to promote re-hydration of your muscle tissue and disposal of the metabolic wastes released during your session. See the Massage Aftercare page for recommendations about optimal post-session recovery.
Neuromuscular Massage
This bodywork modality is used to release structural distortions, due to shortened muscles and active trigger points. The bulk of my training and personal interest is based on this type of restorative massage therapy. My goal is to deactivate any trigger points that may be the cause of your discomfort, while also treating the knotted or shortened muscles that limit your range of motion or cause you pain. My approach is heavily influenced by the principles and techniques of Myofascial Release (MFR) as my mentors. Under the Advanced Modalities section, see the Client Center page for more information and additional benefits gained by receiving Neuromuscular Massage.
Cost & Payment Options
Current industry standard rates are calculated at about $1 per minute. Your total session cost may vary from what is shown and depends entirely on additional distance or time needed for travel to your location. Ask about special pricing for purchasing multiple sessions in advance. Entirely mobile, I am ready to travel to your home, suite, office, or event.
To provide you with the best massage experience possible, we will need at least 9'x12' of available, clear space to accommodate the massage table; an electrical outlet for relaxing music; ability to dim the lighting; and enough peaceful time to reach your massage goals.
Pay Now online for added convenience or cash is gratefully accepted at the conclusion of your session; personal checks cannot be accepted.
